On September 25th, Google’s John Mueller did another one of his usual Google Hangouts where he answered an interesting question relating to keyword stuffing on an e-commerce type website. The question that was asked was, “In a hypothetical situation where a shop shows products like ‘leather shoes shoes’, ‘different leather shoes’, ‘other leather shoes’ on one page, does Google consider that as keyword stuffing or is the algorithm able to differentiate product names from other texts?” John Mueller responded by letting this user know that the algorithm usually differentiates these types of products through category pages, but that he tries to avoid being overly repetitive on any page as it offers somewhat of a poor user experience.
