FWT, Inc., a leading designer, manufacturer and marketer of wireless communication infrastructure products, today reported that its 1999 fiscal year-to-date backlog has increased 47 percent to $25 million from $17 million at fiscal year-end 1998, as a result of orders for communications towers. In addition, the Company has developed a new fiber-optic application for its existing shelter site product line, which will be used by telecom carriers in the development of fiber optic networks.
