This grinder is about 7 1/2 years old and has been grinding 3-5 shots pretty much every day. It’s still in great shape – with new burrs I think it would be like new.
This was originally a Brewtus II, purchased in the summer of 2008 – at the time it was a reservoir machine with a vibe pump. About half it’s life ago, in the Spring of 2012, I sent it back to WLL and had it overhauled and upgraded to a rotary pump and a plumbable machine – so now it’s a rotary pump machine with a hose for plumbing I used it with a big jug of water for a couple of years and then last summer plumbed it in directly as part of a kitchen remodel.
Hi, I have a couple of la Pavoni professionals and have done maintenance on them but am not an expert. One of my machines is blowing the house fuse when it’s turned on, I haven’t encountered this before.
