Hi all – I just bought a Electrolux “Rex” espresso machine; it’s a single boiler 230V/50Hz Italian machine that was made 10 years ago with a built in grinder, and I thought it would be fun to play with… and I was curious about steaming power with a 230V machine. Electrolux doesn’t have a great reputation for espresso machines, but the price was low, and having taken the machine apart I have to say it looks pretty reasonable: brass boiler, in a design that looks very similar as a Rancillo Silvia.
